What Are Spirit Guides, Ancestors, and Deities?

Spirit Guides

Spirit guides can be considered an umbrella term for the connections and relationships you have with energies, entities, deities or celestial beings from the other side, otherwise known as the unseen world. Your Spirit Guides can belong to and are often times part of your soul tribe, this relationship can also extend beyond many lifetimes. Your spirit guides can be your ancestors, having shared many lifetimes together as your lover, mother, father, brother, sister, cousin, aunt, uncle so on and so forth. Spirit guides that are outside your familial bloodline can entail historical figures like celebrities, politicians, Kings and Queens - influential people of their time. Spirit guides can also non-human spirit guides like angels/fallen angels, deities, gods and goddesses, intergalactic intelligence, demons, fairies (otherwise known as faes), Gaia/mother earth, tree spirits, animals.

Ancestors

Your Ancestors, having shared many lifetimes with you can show up as your lover, mother, father, brother, sister, cousin, aunt, uncle so on and so forth. These are guides who have decided to stay in the afterlife with the mission to assist and guide you during this lifetime, either for your entire lifetime or a specific time in your life. The length of time in which they will continue to be your guide depends on your spiritual written contract with them before coming to reincarnate on earth.

Deities

Deities are very wise and old energies who come in the form of Gods or Goddesses, this pertains to those who believe in polytheism- which is the belief in many Gods or Goddesses. Examples of deities are The Triple Goddesses: Diana, Selene, and Hecate for instance represents Maiden, Mother and Crone and the phases of the Moon's cycle. Quan Yin is the Goddess of Compassion. Depending on your upbringing and beliefs, you may have several deities in which you believe in or worship. If you are on the monotheistic side and God is whom you believe in, then he too will be considered your guide in many ways.
