One of the many great things about this coffee shop are the unique featured drinks they have for each season. This month, a friend had ordered a cup of Peppermint Mocha and offered for me to have a taste of it. I personally usually go for Chocolate Chip Frappacino, which is a cold beverage- but seeing as the temperature in Canada has dropped quite a bit lately, the other selection would be a more practical and enjoyable choice.
For all of you who love the traditional flavour of candy canes hung on christmas trees, this drink has a nice hint of peppermint flavour which isn't too strong and overpowering- which allows you to actually taste the other ingredients in this drink! The hot chocolate and coffee beans come following nicely after, ending with a subtle aftertaste of menthol. Refreshing!
